More people are getting cosmetic surgery in the United States in that past five years, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Cosmetic surgery focuses on improving the body as opposed to repairing damage to the body, which is the thrust of plastic surgery, according to an article in Medical News Today. Scottsdale is a hub of cosmetic surgery practices.
Breast augmentation was by far the most common procedure, followed by liposution, nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, and the tummy tuck.
